Life is filled with meaningful moments, and we’re honored to walk with you through them. At Perry Hall Family Worship Center, our Life Events are more than ceremonies, they are sacred milestones grounded in the Word of God and centered on Jesus Christ. Whether you’re taking a public step of faith through baptism, dedicating your child to be raised in a godly home, or entering the covenant of marriage, we’re here to support, pray with, and encourage you as you honor the Lord in each season of life. Water Baptism
If you’ve decided to be baptized! We would be honored to celebrate this powerful next step with you. Water baptism is a biblical, holy, and joy-filled event that symbolizes your new life in Christ through complete immersion in water. You’ll be properly clothed, and your family and friends are encouraged to attend and celebrate with you. You may also share a brief testimony. During the service, a minister will share a few words, pray with you, and baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, fully immersing you in water, followed by prayer.
Water Baptism Requirements
To participate, you must be born again (accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior), be a regular attendee of Perry Hall Family Worship Center, not be cohabiting, and be old enough to understand the meaning of baptism.

Please note that we require a baptism class the week prior, which helps you gain a clear, biblical understanding of baptism and what it means.
Baby Dedication
If you’re interested in dedicating your baby, we’d love to celebrate this special moment with your family! Baby dedication is a biblical ceremony where a mother and father publicly dedicate their lives to raising their child according to the Lord, teaching them the Bible, bringing them to church, and modeling a Godly life.
This isn’t an infant baptism (christening), or a means of salvation for the child. It’s a sacred commitment by the parents to raise the child in the ways of God. During the dedication, the pastor will ask the parents a brief series of commitment questions, and the parents will respond, “We do.” Godparents, grandparents, family, and friends may also participate if they’re committing to support the child’s spiritual upbringing.
Baby Dedication Requirements
Parents must be born again, living godly lives, actively attending PHFWC, married (not cohabiting), and committed to raising their child in a biblical home (one man and one woman), honoring the dedication vows.
