At Perry Hall Family Worship Center, we’re a church family centered on Jesus and grounded in the Bible as God’s true and trustworthy Word.

We believe God has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: the Father who loves and leads; Jesus Christ who came in the flesh, lived without sin, died for our sins, and rose again; and the Holy Spirit who comforts us, changes us, and empowers us to live like Christ.

We believe every person needs forgiveness because sin separates us from God. Salvation is God’s free gift, received by faith in Jesus and not earned by good works. We’re created for eternity, and only through Christ can we be made right with God and live with Him forever.

As a community, we gather to worship in a way that’s genuine and welcoming, grow through Scripture, and care for one another like family. We practice baptism by immersion as a public step of faith and celebrate communion to remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We’re committed to sharing the good news of Jesus so others can find His love, hope, and new life!

Pastor Dominic and his high school sweetheart, Lisa, were married in 1982. Since then, they have built a life and a family, raising three sons. Their family has since grown to include nine wonderful grandchildren: six girls and three boys.

In 2001, Pastor Dom and Lisa felt led to start a church of their own. With the encouragement of their brother, Rick, they began the ministry of Perry Hall Family Worship Center (PHFWC) right in their home. During those foundational years, they were being prepared for something even greater.

In 2010, PHFWC moved to its current location on Joppa Road. Pastor Dominic and Lisa strive to make everyone feel welcome every Sunday, as if they were inviting you into their own living room. Stop in this Sunday and say hello — we look forward to meeting you!

Our Beliefs

The Bible is God’s message to all people of all times. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It’s inspired by God, it is truth without error and the greatest source of truth.

  • The Bible says that all people are sinners, and sin separates us from God. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation happens when people put their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. It is a gift from God and cannot be earned through self-improvement or good works.

  • God has existed for all eternity. The Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit — three in one.

  • God the Father is great, all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move, and exist. He is our Father — loving, compassionate, and faithful to His children and His promises.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross. He walked, taught, and performed miracles. To demonstrate His power over sin and death, He rose from the dead after three days. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to reign as King.

  • The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with the Lord. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

  • Humanity was created for eternity. We will either reside eternally separated from God by sin in Hell, or with God through forgiveness and salvation in Heaven.

  • Baptism (full immersion into water) is a public declaration that the Lord has changed one’s life. Baptism does not save a person; it is an outward expression of an inward change.

  • The Church is much more than a meeting place. It is the community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and to living a life of faith and surrender to Him. The Church seeks to bring the Gospel to the world, working together in love and unity to point others to Christ and glorify Him.

  • The Great Commission is the Lord’s command to take the gospel to every person. It is our responsibility to share the love of Jesus Christ with the world.

  • Communion is a way believers participate in remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The elements are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood.

  • Worship is not just a part of Sunday morning service. While praise, songs, and instruments are good things, worship is an active lifestyle of offering one’s life as a living sacrifice to Christ.
